Production Manager

Unusual Opportunity in Rotational Molding!

Our client is a well known and respected rotational molder in the Midwest.  Recently acquired new business and an aggressive growth plan has created an immediate need for a Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the President, the Production Manager will supervise three shifts and be responsible for:

• For the development and implementation of manufacturing systems designed to produce maximum efficiency and quality.
• P&L responsibility for Production Operations.
• Produce monthly production schedules and monitor daily to ensure machine utilization, assembly times, and scrap rates meet or improve on established standards.
• Assist in day to day process and production problem solving and the establishment of standards for new tools/products.
• Direct and assist in R&D of new processes and materials.
• Ensuring quality and on-time delivery of product to customer.

Requirements include

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years experience in rotational molding and at least 3 years of Production Management experience.  
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Skills in the set-up and troubleshooting of rotational molding tools and equipment.
• Ability to develop and test new materials.
