Blow Molding Technician

Our client is a plastic blow molder with multiple US locations. Responsibilities:

The Process Technician will provide “hands on” blow molding process and equipment expertise and support for day to day production efforts.  Duties will include:

• Provide day to day blow molding process set-up, troubleshooting, and optimization support.
• Work as part of a team of Process and Manufacturing Engineers in the continual development and improvement of advanced blow molding processes, procedures, and technology. 
• Identify and utilize best practices to reduce costs, decrease cycle times, improve efficiency and exceed quality requirements.

Requirements include:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree with 3 or more years of experience or a High School Diploma, training in plastic blow molding processes, and at least 5 to 8 years of experience.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in either injection blow molding or extrusion blow molding with specific skills in machine and process optimization, troubleshooting, and tooling.
• Experience with the following types of machines:  Uniloy, Bekum, Sidel, Sipa, Nissei or other Shuttle Extruder or Reheat Blow Molders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
