Reliability Engineers needed in Illinois to establish a corporate Reliability Centered Maintenance System.. Our client is a leading international chemical company committed to investing in its ability to continually improve and expand production-creating exceptional career opportunities for Engineers with strong technical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Immediate need for experienced Reliability Engineers to work in state of the art chemical processing facilities. Primary focus will be on driving the continual improvement of process efficiencies and reliability through the application of advanced Reliability Centered Maintenance systems. Duties will include:
- Leading the development and implementation of modern Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, Six Sigma Based Root Cause Analysis, Tribology, Vibration Analysis, and other Reliability Improvement techniques.
- Development of plant wide culture of continual improvement, maximum operational efficiencies and safety built on RCM principals and techniques.
- Work with Plant and Operations Management to develop Maintenance budget and provide regular reports on progress metrics to achieve facility cost reductions and productivity improvement.
- Assist in the selection, design, and installation of capital equipment to optimize assets for maximum durability and service life.
Requirements include:
- BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 8 to 10 years of experience in chemical process industry with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in plant maintenance with specific responsibility for Reliability Centered Maintenance systems.
- Experience working with complex chemical processes involving separation, fermentation, evaporation, ion exchange, distillation and/or other chemical processes. Non chemical plant experience is not a fit for this opportunity.
- Skills in the application of modern, computer based Preventive and Predictive Systems, Root Cause Analyses, and advanced Tribology, Vibration Analyses, and related RCM techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills and ability to work in high performance teams.
