Regional Account Manager

Title: Regional Account Manager-Packaging Films

Salary Minimum: $60,000 base plus commission

  

Client is an major international manufacturer of multi-layer flexible packaging films for food and industrial applications. The Company is known for providing customers with state of the art packaging solutions.  The Company has grown by more than 100% in the last four years and that growth has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced flexible packaging Sales Representative / Account Manager.

 

Responsiblities:

The Regional Account Manager will establish sales contacts with key users of Thermal Laminating Films, Packaging Films and other Specialty Films and Coating in the Northeast US and Eastern Canada. Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Establish sales contacts with key users of Thermal Laminating films,  Industrial PET, OPP, CPP, Nylon, PE, and other films.
  • Advance and build relationships with existing and potential accounts through targeted personal and telephone contacts.
  • Manage and maintain a functional Home Office
  • Manage daily sales toward agreed upon goals
  • Manage daily call report responsibilities
  • Some overnight travel required / very little air travel

 

Requirements include:

 

  • A minimum of 5 years successful experience in sales of Thermal Laminating Films, Flexible Packaging materials, Industrial Films and Coatings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and increase sales.
  • Bachelors degree in Business / Marketing preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Personal computer skills – Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Goldmine.
  • Ability to work independently and a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals

Compensation

  • Client offers an aggressive base wage, bonus program and expenses (Car, Home Office, etc) in addition to a comprehensive benefits program that includes Medical, Dental, Life and Disability insurance plus 401k, paid vacation, holiday and personal days.

  • Candidates can live in any area of the Northeast United States or Eastern Canada.
