Responsibilities:
The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be part of an elite team empowered to implement continuous improvement projects in all aspects of manufacturing operations. Projects will include:
- Development and implementation of Visual Management, 5S, Kanban, Kaizan, SMED and other techniques designed to reduce waste and enhance process efficiency.
- Spending substantial time on the production floor working with Engineers, Technicians, and Machine Operators to share experiences to identify and implement improvement.
- Using a variety of Industrial Engineering and Six Sigma tools to quantify and define production operations, spot bottlenecks, and outline possible solutions.
- Working closely with EHS to develop and implement ergonomic improvements.
- Assisting in the compliance to FDA/cGMP, ISO 14001 documentation and procedure protocols.
- Training Company personnel in advanced manufacturing techniques.
Requirements include:

- Minimum of a BS in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years in an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering role involving the development of Lean Manufacturing or World Class Manufacturing concepts.
- Outgoing personality with outstanding ability to organize and work with a broad range of personnel in a Team Oriented Manufacturing Environment.
- Achievement of Six Sigma Green Belt or better Certification.
- CAD skills.
- Proficiency with MTM, MOST is a plus.
