Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Manager will have full management responsibility for directing the maintenance of plant equipment, buildings and grounds.  Key duties will include:

• Coordinating with Plant Manager, Production Managers, and Manufacturing Engineering in the scheduling of preventive maintenance, capital equipment installations, construction projects, and equipment or facility repairs.
• Development and improvement of Computerized Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
• Development, Justification, and implementation of Departmental Capital and Operations budgets.
• Management of Departmental Operations including Selection, Training, Evaluation, and Scheduling of maintenance crews.
• Management of outside vendors and contractors engaged in equipment or building projects.
• Oversee the completion of Safety, Hazardous Waste and Environmental recordkeeping and reporting.

Requirements include

• BS in Mechanical or other Engineering or Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering.  Preference for candidates with at least 2 to 5 years of Maintenance Supervision experience.
• MUST HAVE 3 or more years of experience in plastic profile, film or sheet extrusion with skills in troubleshooting screw and barrel, extruder, die, hydraulic and electrical, and PLC control systems specific to extrusion process.
• Additional experience with HVAC, plant electrical and plumbing systems, construction and building repair.
• Must have strong background in Computerized Preventive Maintenance systems.
